JUMPING for joy is of course easier for a gymnast, and it's something that those at Kilsyth Academy recently had a lot of practice at.
A group of limber pupils from the school recently cleaned up at the North Lanarkshire Gymnastics Championships in Wishaw.

The youngsters came away with ten gold and four bronze medals from the event and will now represent North Lanarkshire at the Scottish Championships in Perth in March.

This is the seventh year in a row that the Kilsyth school has produced gymnasts worthy of a place in the national championships - a reflection of the high standard of coaching that the gymnastics club enjoys.
