MSP pays tribute
The politician paid tribute to Cumbernauld resident John McGarrigle who died in the incident, and he also praised the emergency services for their efforts.
He said: “The accident at the Clutha bar in Glasgow shocked the whole country. That nine people who were going about their business could be killed in this way is tragic.

“I would like to convey my sincere condolences to Mr McGarrigle’s family and friends, and to all those who have lost a loved one in this horrible incident.
“And I would also pay tribute to all those emergency services personnel and members of the public who responded to the accident at the Clutha bar.
“They demonstrated Glasgow and Scotland at its very best during a very traumatic time.”
