YOUR Kilsyth Chronicle always strives to bring you the best mixture of news, views, sport and advertising we possibly can.

But we know that we can always do better. That’s why we’re embarking on a massive project with the help of you, our loyal readers.

We want to find out what it is that you like, the things you’re not quite so keen on, and what you would like to see more of in your Kilsyth Chronicle and on our associated website.

And to thank you for your time, everyone who fills in our reader survey in this week’s Chronicle will be entered into a prize draw, with a £25 cash prize for the winner.

The reader survey includes a Freepost address, so you don’t even need a stamp. Just fill it in, pop it in an envelope and post it off to us.

The findings will be analysed by a team of experts and, based on the results, we will take a fresh look at the content that makes up your favourite weekly paper.

Readers who would like to help us further with our research can indicate they would like to do so on our survey. At a later date they will form part of a special panel, which will be asked to go through our papers in detail, to help us pinpoint the content you want to see.

News and Chronicle editor Jack Shennan said: “This is one of the biggest reader surveys this paper has been involved in for many years.

“It’s your chance to tell us what we’re getting right, where we’re not quite up to the mark and the stories and features you would like to see.

“Our aim is to be your number one provider of local news, sport and advertising both in-paper and online – and with your help that’s what we’ll continue to do.”

For your chance to have a say in the future direction of your local paper, fill out the reader survey on page 25 of the Kilsyth Chronicle - out now.
