Craig’s in eleventh heaven

Craig Buchanan celebrating his milestone 11th birthday

HERE’S another 11/11/11 birthday boy - Abronhill lad Craig Buchanan!

Last week we revealed that St Helen’s Primary pupil Kieran Stewart hit his 11th year on this landmark date thanks to a numerical anomaly.

It’s now emerged that Whitelees Primary School pupil Craig was born on exactly the same day. Mum Pauline said: “He was quite excited about it actually. It’s obviously a once-in-a-lifetime experience!’’ Craig got a guitar for his birthday and aptly enough, is learning to play ‘‘Happy Birthday’’!

Meanwhile the circle of life continued as a new life came into the world. Young Lewis Craig Reid from Kildrum was born on the day - see page 13 for more details.
