YOUNGSTERS at Chapelgreen Primary in Queenzieburn have prepared an exhibition in honour of Scotland’s national bard.

The display, to mark Burns Night, contains a number of distinctly Scottish items.

Groups, organisations and individuals across Scotland - and indeed the globe - will be celebrating the birth of Robert Burns in the traditional manner tonight.

For a round-up of local activities in Rabbie’s honour, see next week’s Chronicle.
