WHEN Cumbernauld girl Catherine Kennedy married in France last month, she took along a contingent of guests – and her own photographer and piper.
Commercial photographer Bob Aird (inset picture) from Cumbernauld packed his camera and his bagpipes for one of his most long-distance assignments to date.

Catherine, from McTaggart Road, met Aurelian Brisseau at internet retailer Amazon where both are employed. They were wed at Marie De Crouzilles and held their reception at the Abbeye De Seuilly.

Bob, a member of Kilsyth Thistle Pipe Band said: "Catherine was a beautiful bride, our French hosts made us wonderfully welcome and a fantastic weekend was enjoyed by the Scottish contingent from Cumbernauld."
