Unique band set for Soundhaus gig

LOCAL band Marshalls Place are playing in the Soundhaus, Glasgow this weekend.

The Cumbernauld four-piece - consisting of Steven (guitar/vocals) and Scott MacMaster (bassist) Andy Gordon on vocals and Ruth Petherbridge on drums will be appearing alongside Kiss Mars, Horizon, Girobabies, The Blindies and Second City.

Marshalls Place, who describe their goal as "trying to do the unthinkable by not looking or sounding like anyone else out there" have a unique, feelgood sound they say is influenced by "anything and everything - the world is your soundboard if you can listen just right."

The eagerly-anticipated gig at Soundhaus in Anderston, Glasgow is this Saturday, March 12, with doors opening at 7.30pm. Entry is 6 and the venue is for over 18s only.
