Teddy Bears’ Picnic with a Scottish theme

The Scottish Teddy Bears' Picnic at Kilsyth Primary

The Scottish Teddy Bears' Picnic at Kilsyth Primary

PRIMARY two pupils at Kilsyth Primary treated their furry friends better than naughty Katie Morag did...

Having just finished the famous children’s book Katie Morag and the Tiresome Ted, in which the bear is cast into the sea by its angry owner, the children decided to treat their’s to a little TLC. The kids cooked up some porridge and even made their own shortbread before sampling some Scottish oatcakes, cheese, caramel waffers and Irn-Bru. Pictured above are, left to right, Cameron Greig, Eilidh Fyfe, Thomas Gray, Caitlyn Stevenson, Ben Newey and Jayde Allan, with their cuddly friends.
