Law village bid for assisted area status
Councillors have recommended to the Scottish Government that Law gains ‘assisted area status’, meaning businesses are offered regional aid grants under European Commission state aid rules.
Law-based SNP Councillor Pat Lee said: “We were never in a position to help local business development but, hopefully, that is about to change.
